Creating a hook loop in the middle of your line, the core technique behind a high-low rig

Steps

1. 1.Form a loop in the line at the point you want the dropper.
2. 2.Twist the loop around the standing line 6-8 times.
3. 3.Reach through the center twist and pull a small loop of line through.
4. 4.Wet the knot and pull both ends of the standing line evenly to cinch the twists down, leaving the small loop standing out to tie your hook to.
