How to tie the Slip Bobber Rig

  1. Tie a bobber stop knot (or slide on a rubber stop) on the main line at your fishing depth.
  2. Thread on a small bead, then the slip float.
  3. Add 1-3 split shot 8-12in above where the hook will sit.
  4. Tie on a #6 - #1 live bait hook; when cast, the float slides down and the bait sinks until the stop reaches the float.
