Catfish hunt by scent more than sight, and both of these baits are built to put out as much smell as possible into a slow current or still water.
How to Rig It
Thread liver onto a treble hook or use a bait sponge/hair rig for prepared stink bait, both need a still presentation on bottom.
Storage
Keep liver frozen until use, prepared stink baits store at room temperature per the label but keep sealed between trips.
